What to expect in the credit repair process

STEP ONE (1-3 days): Case Setup and Credit Consulting

During your case setup, we will examine your negative items for inaccurate and incomplete data and/or any potential credit reporting violations. While removing negative items from your credit reports is a major piece of the credit repair process, a successful credit repair campaign involves using every measure to maximize your credit scores. We will email you step-by-step instructions consulting you on how to improve your credit scores. For example:

  • If you have little or no credit, we will provide you with options for secured credit cards.
  • We will show you how to add years of positive credit history in as little as 45 days.
  • We will educate you on useful strategies on enhancing your credit scores.

STEP TWO (4+ days) Case-work Begins

We will work on removing negative and invalid information from your credit reports by contacting the credit reporting agencies and if applicable, companies who reported negative information to the credit bureaus (we may use Certified Mail – see below for details).

STEP THREE (20-60 days) First Results

Your first results will arrive. We will email you a detailed breakdown of each negative item deleted from your credit reports. If there are any questionable items remaining, we will continue working on your case

STEP FOUR (every 30 to 90 days later) More Results

You will receive your updated credit reports in cycles. Each time we complete a credit repair cycle more negative items are often removed. We will contact you every time this takes place with an additional breakdown of your credit repair improvements.

How long does the credit repair process take?

The length of your case is often determined by how many negative and invalid items you have on your credit reports when you begin the process. Keep in mind that we don’t charge fees based on how long we work on your credit, we charge fees after we successfully remove negative and invalid items from your credit reports. Therefore, it’s in our best interest to finish your case as quickly as possible. You can use the chart below as a general guideline*.

* Please note the above is an estimate only. Each case is unique as credit reports vary from person to person.

Aggressive Credit Repair with Certified Mail

The majority of our credit repair efforts are accomplished thru the credit bureaus. On occasion, we may communicate with companies who reported negative information on your reports. If we do, we may use Certified Mail. Certified Mail requires a signature from these companies and prevents them from denying that they received your letters.

Your Part in the Credit Repair Process

As our client, you will need to forward to our office copies of anything you receive in the mail from the credit reporting agencies and from any companies who reported negative information on your credit reports (also called "data furnishers"). You will also need to stay current with your accounts that are in good standing (avoid adding new negative items).

Free Consultation

If you would like a free personalized consultation, contact us. We only charge deletion fees after we remove negative items from your credit reports so if we do not believe we can improve your credit, it wouldn’t make sense for us to take your case.
